So what happens when you are in the mood for a romantic comedy and a horror movie shows up instead? Also with the mail-in subscription that we had it did not always consist of the new releases. So if we really wanted to see the new movies we ended up going to the dvd/video store anyway and then of course, it wasn't there and we had to wait.

Barnyard - Excited foolishness set on a farm where, after sundown, the animals turn the barn into a raucous nightclub. James is Otis, a young cow who is very grown-up, much to the annoyance of his dad, Ben Elliott, who keeps watch for preying coyotes when the others party. Dom Irrera stands out as Duke the Dog. Cast includes Courtney Cox, Sam Elliott, Danny Glover, Wanda Sykes, Andie MacDowell, David Koechner, and Laraine Newman. (90 minutes, 2006)

The Beverly Hillbillies: This is a movie based on the'60's TV series. When Jed Clampett by accident finds oil on his farm land in Arkansas, he becomes an instant millionaire. He brings the whole Clampett clan out to Beverly Hills. Being simple country folk they are victim to every money hungry con artist in the big city.

Only You - Nice confection in reference to a youthful woman who invests her entire life looking for her perfect mate whose name was summoned up on a Ouija board. Cast includes Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey, Jr., Bonnie Seek, Joaquim De Almeida, Fisher Stevens, and Phyllis Newman. (108 minutes,'94)

Live Free Or Die Hard - The U. S. is under attack. A criminal mind is attacking the system with modern secrets. It is now up to Detective John McClane and talented computer hacker Matt Farrell to locate and stop whoever is doing the attacking.

Solar Crisis: Futuristic sci-fi thriller with Matheson leading a save the Earth mission to the sun to stop a solar flash from annihilating the world. Fine visual effects and thrilling tale in space harmed by world pranks of poor boy Boyle who outrageously wants to challenge the mission. Cast includes Tim Matheson, Charlton Heston, Peter Boyle, and Annabel Schofield. (112 minutes,'90)

So we tried a mail subscription. It sounded like it might work well. Just fill up your queue and pick up your movies at the mailbox. The only drawback was that if the first movie that you wanted wasn't available then they would send the second movie or the third movie on your list instead. - 29852
