Danny Boy - Ambitious although arrogant, inexorably dull melodrama of sax player Rea, who trades his sax for a gun after observing a triple murder. This was Jordan's directorial debut, which he in addition did the screenplay. He and leading guy Rea later reteamed for The Weeping Game. (92 minutes,'82)

The Gorgeous Hussy - Stars fill the cast in this fictionalized historical drama of Peggy O'Neal, President Andrew Jackson's secret lover. The cast is delightfully costumed in well assigned settings. The movie is based on the book by Samuel Hopkins Joyce. Cast includes Joan Crawford, Robert Taylor, Lionel Barrymore, Franchot Tone, Melvyn Douglas, James Stewart, Alison Skipworth, Beulah Bondi, and Gene Lockhart. (102 minutes,'36)

Michael - A set of dubious journalists and a false "angel" discover that a dotty old female's contention that the archangel Michael is living with her is real. Michael, however, turns out not to be your customary angel. Pleasant, wry movie by no means goes where you foresee and takes its time getting there, however the journey is captivating, and Travolta, as the sleazy, randy Michael, is impeccably cast. Cast includes John Travolta, Andie MacDowell, William Hurt, Robert Pastorelli, Bob Hoskins, Jean Stapleton, Teri Garr, Wally Ward, Joey Lauren Adams, Carla Gugino, Tom Hodges, and Wallace Langham.
