Best Warrior Racials: Alliance Version

By Thomas Maryland

So you want to roll up a new Alliance warrior, or maybe you're taking advantage of the new Race Change feature, and you want to make sure you have the best racials available? Well, this guide is here to help you determine which Allied race is best for your purposes, whether you want to Tank, DPS, or are just looking for the best race for PvP.

The first race is of course Human. Their on-use racial, Every Man for Himself, is pretty good for Tanks, although it is situational. Where it really shines is PvP, where it is probably the best racial in the game. Their extra expertise with maces and swords is handy across the board, adding DPS with the relevant weapons. Perception is handy against stealthers in PvP, but don't expect to beat stealthers at their own game too often.

Dwarf warriors are another popular choice, and for good reason. Stoneform is handy for Tanks and PvP warriors in particular, adding survivability, although DPS can benefit as well, since dead dwarves do no damage. Their bonus to expertise with Maces is good across the board, adding even more damage than a warrior's mace bonus. And the extra Frost Resistance they come with can be good against mages, and occasionally shaman.

Third to plate is gnome. Gnomes lack beneficial talents for DPS, and Escape Artist, while not useless for Tanking or PvP, is weak in comparison to other on-use racials such as Every Man or Stoneform. PvP gnomes also have an extra 2% arcane resistance, which is useful against mages.

Night Elves are like gnomes in that they lack any damage improving talents, but unlike gnomes they have other decent racials. Elusiveness is a fantastic racial for PvP and Tanking, and Shadowmeld is great for getting the jump on enemies in PvP.

Draenei is our last race. Heroic Presence is a great racial for pretty much any purpose, thanks to the benefit it provides to both the Warrior and his party, although it doesn't stack. Gift of the Naaru is another decent all-around racial; the ability to heal yourself in an emergency can be great for any warrior, although it is most useful in PvP. Finally, Shadow Resistance is nice against Warlocks and Priests.

So you know what each race brings, but which ones are the best? Well, Draenei is your best bet if you are focusing on DPS, and is a good all-around choice as well. For Tanking, Night Elf's Elusiveness adds a nice little bit of avoidance, making them the best choice. And for PvP, the ability to equip an extra non-PvP trinket makes Human unmatched for Warrior, be it Horde or Alliance. - 29852

I prefer to save movies to the computer to begin with and then transport them to the game console. This way I have my music in both places and I have a back up on the computer in case an error happens when transferring the files to the game console. For downloading movies from the Internet, choose your movie choices and save the movie to a dedicated folder on the computer. Then copy those files from the computer to the recently formed drive for the game console. In order to move music from a DVD to the game console a DVD ripper is needed. - 29852
