After all, buying games in ordinary stores gets expensive very quickly. If you choose to download these games instead, you'll save a lot of money and have an easy way to try out new games.

The trend of downloading this games is pretty new. Most people who own a Wii and play with it regularly still don't know how easy game downloading can be. What you'll find when you take a look at these sites is that most of them are merely networks of files that users have uploaded. Anyone at all can add a file, and there's no moderation of submissions. Because of this, many files are infected with viruses, adware, spyware, and other malicious software. Love Video Games? Then You Need A Gaming Desktop

By Andrew Johnson

Laptops are quickly replacing the large bulky desktop as the preferred home computer in homes across America. As obvious a transition as this seems, don't count out the desktop yet. Gaming desktops still outclass their portable counterparts when it comes to computer gaming and it's pretty obvious when you look at some of highest rated machines on the market right now. We'll start with the Maingear Shift. Overclocked at 3. 98 GHz, this is the fastest machine on this list, but the specifications designate it as a 3. 3 GHz Intel Core i7-975 Extreme Edition PC. If you're interested in gaming computers, then pay close attention to what we tell you in the paragraphs below...

Maybe the 6 G DDR3 RAM or the two 80 GB solid state drives and 2 TB Hard Drive have something to with how fast this behemoth can run. You need all this space and speed though, in order to operate the three ATI Radeon 5870 graphics cards.

Of course this means it also DVDrw compatible. Windows 7 Ultimate manages everything smoothly on the integrated 64-bit system. At just over 7000 dollars it easily the most expensive but with a basic model at 2200 dollars it is also the most flexible.

Perhaps a more reasonable machine is the Cyberpower Gamer Xtreme XE PC. A comparable computer, it has a 2. 93 GHz Core i7-940 processor that also overclocks, but to somewhat smaller, but still incredible 3. 6 GHz.

The two 150 GB Hard Drives are supported by 3 GB DDR3 and a slightly smaller 1 TB HDD. With two Nvidia GTX 295 graphics cards the blazing processing speed makes it possible to run to the included Blu-Ray burner and DVDrw drives.

The two Nvidia GTX 295 graphics cards may be less capable than the three cards in the Maingear, but they are still more than adequate to run the Blu-Ray burner and a DVDrw drive. Windows Vista Home Premium edition operating system and a bit more restrained hardware explain the $2,999 price.

With two Nvidia GTX 295 graphics cards number one less than the Maingear, but still manage to optimize the Blu-Ray burner and DVDrw dri ves. With Windows Vista Home Premium edition Operating System, you can be sure you are still at the cutting edge of technology.

Two ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards with 1 GB DDR5 expandable RAM each, optimizes the BD-ROM and DVDrw drives so full high-definition is available if you want it. With Windows 7 Home Premium coming pre-installed for you, there really aren't any higher-performing gaming desktops on the market for such an affordable price. - 29852
